Rounded Corners on an External Display on Mac

External monitors usually have square corners, and macOS has no setting to round them. Roundly rounds all four corners of every connected external display automatically.

Which setups work?

Any Mac with macOS 13 or later and an external display, for example a Mac mini or Mac Studio with a Studio Display. With a MacBook and a monitor, the monitor gets four rounded corners and the built-in display keeps its own setting.

How big are the corners?

Roundly uses the same physical radius as a MacBook display, about 4 mm, converted for your monitor’s size and scaling. The radius is not adjustable.

Availability

External display support is included in the direct download from version 1.0.3 and will come to the Mac App Store version with its next update.
